I had an error tonight after slaving and reformatting a HDD to my system in sig. Without post, my red display gave me "6d" This, I found, is not explained in the manual.

Explanation: I had taken the power from my CDROM and put it on the new HDD without removing the IDE ribbon from the CD. I assume this is the problem, because I plugged the CD back into the PSU via another line and all was good again.

Just thought I'd contribute my find to the Epox board crew.

If you get 6d, check IDE devices for proper connectivity.
