Whassup guys.. First off I'd like to say what a amazing mobo, This thing is awesome for 140 bucks.. Well here's the questions..
1) I want to get that /5 pci divider everyone is talking about.. What bios is this included in?? Is thier a windows version to update the bios?? I hate flashing from dos, last time I did that I ended up screwing up the board.. If not can someone list how excactly how to do this.. 8) 8)
2) I don't have a clue on how to set my memory settings in the bios, I've owned 3 other Asus mobo's but never seen these can you state what is good for running seti & playing games..
3) How high have you gotten up with your fsb with the most aggressive memory timings?? And what voltages did you use to achieve this..
Thanks guys..

Well I've officially changed my views on this mobo after flashing to the newest bios off of epox's site this thing locks up repeatedly and generates more errors than i can close.. This is all achieved with running a 150 fsb using crucial ram pc2100 256mb x 2.. Why is this mobo so unstable, my asus a7m266 is running 152 fsb with a lower pci divider and solid as a rock... Can't someone help me? Hopfully i'm just missing sumthing simple.. I dont know how to set the timings but here is how they are set now.. 16-8-7-2-2-2-2 obviouly sumthing is wrong..
Any help would be greatly appreciated..

ur ram timings r F***ed buddy. ua need to back off a bit.
i dont remember exactly what mine are and i cannot reboot to check becauseim running a server right now. but i "THINK" it is 8872622.
anyways dont hold me to that. but im sure another knowlegdable person will come along and say for ertain. p.s. im on a 160 fsb right now.

See I knew I had sumthing messed up very simple, but I didnt know what timings to use rebooting now to try these thanks..

It also depends on your RAM, some crucial will go 150FSB, some won't. I have set mine to 8-8-8-2-6-2-2 and I got to 146. When I fixed my lockups past 146FSB problem, I changed my timings to 16-8-7-2-2-2-2 and I got to 150FSB. I changed them once again and now I run 150FSB and RAM timings of 8-8-7-2-2-2-2 and I run fine. Try the latter and see how it fares for you.
