Wanted to let you all know, there's new functionality for forums where we routinely see questions being asked. This includes all forums in the categories Hardware, Software, and Consumer Devices.
To change a thread to a Question, simply select the Question tab instead of the Discussion tab when creating the thread.
If a thread is created as a discussion, and it should have been a question, please report the thread and a mod/admin will correct that.
Editing to add: registered users can vote on replies which answer the question, both up or down. There is a cumulative vote on the right side of each post. The OP, Premium, Seniors, Mods, and Admins can select posts in the thread as an answer to the question.
