Hey guys im looking at a gaming computer for under 1500...Check this out

ABIT "KV8" K8T800 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Athlon64 CPU
eVGA nVIDIA GeForce 6800GT Video Card, 256MB GDDR3, 256-Bit, DVI/TV-Out, 8X AGP, Model "256-A8-N344-AX"

ADVUEU 723A 17" LCD Monitor with Speakers
Creative Labs Sound Blaster 128 PCI Sound Card
Microsoft Windows XP Professional with Service Pac

Anything better i can get for a better price

Can that 350W PSU handle a that much load? I would deffinatly go for something 450 or greater, as I just blew out my 350 on an XP-M 2600+.

yeah Keiron is right. I would even say go with like a 550W Antec PSU. or a Fortron 500+W if you need to save some money

Looks good except I would also suggest an Nforce based board with DDR RAM (not DDR2). Also a better PSU (400W+) may help.

Drop the LCD and get a good CRT. It will be cheaper and better for gaming. Get the mentioned 1024MB of DDR(1) Ram, PC-3200 is the speed you need or if you want to overclick 3500. Also that sound card isn't great, atleast get an Audigy. And a nForce board is preferable.

supposedly more bandwidth, but the only platform that uses it right now is the i915 Intel Chipset. right now DDR2 is in its infancy so it's not much of a performace boost over DDR

Aspire X-Dreamer II(Black) ATX Mid-Tower Case with 350W Power Supply, With Window, Model "ATXB4KLW-BK/350"
Seagate 120GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive, Model ST3120026AS, OEM
The memory mentioned above
SAMSUNG SyncMaster 997DF-T/T 19" DynaFlat CRT Monitor
ABIT "NF7-M" nForce2 IGP Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU
Antec 550W Power Supply, 24-Pin, Model "TRUE550 EPS12V"
AMD Athlon 64 3200+, 512k L2 Cache, The Only 64-bit Windows Compatible Processor -
Microsoft Windows XP Professional with Service Pack SP1a -
