Hey, just browsin' over wc101 and saw a new shroud for the '86 chevette. Looks nice, is anyone currently using one?

ive just realized, the holes for mounting the fans are too big . Im using an evercool 120mm fans, now I have to buy new screws that'll fit.

anyone know where you could buy the mounting screws that goes thru the shrouds and radiator? could you buy those at a local home depot?

Ive already bought some . took a while to look for it at home depot, its called a Threaded Rod(#8-32), then bought some wing nuts to go with it.

I think those new shrouds attach without having to use threaded rod to go through the actual fins of the core. Anway, the size you want is 6/32 not 8/32.

shroud's price seems reasonable but the shipping charge is 8..lol

Yeah that does seem a little high for shipping one item. They carry it at Cooltechnica as well. Shipping is probably nominal if you are buying a new setup.
