New HPT374 v1.23 -- IT7 Max2

Hey guys,

I have the IT7 Max2. I am having the weird disk timeouts that some people have had with the on-board RAID. I saw highpoint just posted the new drivers and BIOS - v1.23. Not sure that'll fix the problem, but I'd like to try. Of course, Abit has not yet posted a bios with the new HPT bios in it.

I know I can put the new HPT bios in an existing Abit bios but please remind me how?

Cbrom newbios.bin /pci raidbios.bin

Replace newbios.bin with the actual name of the bios you are modding.

Replace raidbios.bin with whatever you decide to name the new raid bios.

Thanks dude! I got it in fine, but now my problem just seems worse. Much worse. Guess it's back to the old BIOS & drivers and the "less awful" disk problem.
