Ah. Firebird, how many ways do I love thee........let me count the ways.....

Well, that vulnerability doesn't happen in Firebird:) (but I cranked up IE6 to see anyway:))

Never say Never....Kernel Exploit Cause Of Debian Compromise.

Looking at his name (Robert van der Meulen) he has to be Dutch, do I feel sorry for being Dutch? YES I could be driving a Porsche, BMW or Mercedes if you English *******s hadn't interfered in WWII.
J/K (Bad joke).

Debian's servers got rooted through a local account. Very, very different kind of security breach, as opposed to Microshaft's weekly IE breaches.

It's like a key access apartment building getting a vending machine stolen by a tenant, as opposed to a random person who got in through an open window.
