I just bought a Duron 800 (akca), And a Soyo K7VTA-b mobo but Im having trouble with the board, Thought it was a bad processor and took it back to get it tested and they replaced the chip for me. Put it back in the board and now it wont even post! Nothing, the monior wont even come on  . Cant get bios to make a sound.. So I think im going to scrap this board and get a new one.
Like most of the questions in here I would like your input on a new one. I would like to push this processor to its limits, dont need RAID or DDR just a good board that supports high mhz's.

Thanx in advance.

I like the Asus A7V-E it supports up to 1.2 GHz...great stability.......Nothing to fancy doesnt cost an arm and a leg.

I would recommend the Abit KT7A board. It's a great board for OCing, plus it's pretty inexpensive nowadays.

Abit KT7A I've had good luck with. I got the Raid version just because I wanted the ability to have 8 IDE devices (file server).

I have a Duron 850 in a A7V133 mobo and its great!
It didn't seem to like Windows ME. But 98SE is running quite nicely.
