I noticed while inspecting the board that around the cpu are some LArge capacitors and some are starting to buldge. It might be what is causing the issue of freezing. Since it isnt freezing when not straining the cpu it is fine when starting to install an os, but not when it gets to any intensive cpu state like loading it to finish install.
I need to try and find a cheap motherboard now that supports pci-e, sata(I+II) and ide. ugh. Another asrock 939dual-sata2 would work nicely but for my needs almost anything else would do. can anyone help me find a motherboard for my ddr1 pc400 2x1gig sticks and amd64 3200+?
