I installed these drivers tonight and got a 400+ increase in my 3DMark2000 score to 8647. They don't bring up the clocking control in the advanced display settings in Windows but you can get the NVidia reg file from tweaakfiles.com to compensate for it. This driver pack is the best I've tried out yet, and LORD I've tried alot of them. Just thought I'd let you all in on that. Go to this site for all the NVidia drivers out so far. There's a beta out I'll try tomorrow but these 12.41WHQL are fantastic so far!!

thay got the 12.6's too. :)

How are those drivers? After work tonight I am gonna install them and benchmark again to see if I can overcome the 8000's barrier I am in.

I installed thses drivers, and they actually lowered my score by about 250 points on in 3D Mark 2000 my GeForce 2 GST Pro, and even with the coolbits program, I couldn't access the overclocking function in display properties. Send in more results, people! I'm intersested in seeing if this will be a common problem, if if it's system dependant.

I have had the same problem in 98 and 2000 where the overclocking function is removed. I have tried the cool bits registry entry and the NVmax program but cannot change it. With NVmax I can overclock it at that time but once I reboot it sets the settings back to where they were at before.

i have a asus-a7v-133

how come u gave up on tat and got an abitkt7a?

I gave up on the A7V133 because whenever I changed the vcore from AUTO, it wouldn't reboot at all. It would NEVER reboot. I needed to up the vcore so I could overclock my CPU to where it is today but the A7V133 wouldn't let me do it "My" way. So I said screw that board. I hate it and hate that I still have to use it in my wife's system until the KG7 comes out.

Just upgraded from the 12.40 drivers to the 12.60 drivers and got an increase from a 3d2001 of 5025 to 5111, a good 1.7% increase. seems worth the upgrade. i did not try the certified 12.41 drivers. looks like this is a good upgrade to make.

AMD TBird 900 oc to 1000
GeForce 3 200/460 oc to 240/540

Anyone know how to ENABLE the Coolbits reg back in this 12.41 driver.. I hate to reset the OC all the time with the NVmax program...
Here is how I got the Coolbits reg to work int his driver now:1. Make sure the Display Properties window is CLOSED.
2. Insert the nVCpl.dll from an older set of detonator drivers ( I used the file from 12.00 driver) into C:WINNT\SYSTEM32 (I am using win2k), and click YES when asked to over write the current file.
3. Use the Cool Bits hack like normal, reboot, click Enable Clock Frequency Adjustments in [H]ardware Options, reboot again.
Voila now I got it back to 205/205 for my GF2 MX
Happy Overclocking.......
Blah 12.41 drop my 3Dmark2000 from 5249 (with 12.00) to 4689.. TIme to go back to 12.00 driver

i installed the nvidia offical release of the 12.41 version drivers (released the 6th werent they?) and my 3dmark score jumped about 250 points . . .

i installed the 12.41 drivers and i couldn't change my res from 640 x 480. So I went back to old drivers and no problems. Anybody have any ideas?
