New owner of 8K3A+

I just ordered the Epox 8K3A+ from NewEgg along with an Athlon XP 1700+,I was wondering if there was any quircks as far as setup goes,will I have any trouble setting up the RAID?It will be my first time with RAID and am not sure about loading drivers for it,I know when you load Windows it ask if you want to load RAID drivers,but I have heart some horror stories about RAID.
I wont be using two HDD right off,but I would like the DVD and the CDRW on a different channel,than having them together on the same channel..
Any info would be great..Thanks

First, I would disconnect your hard drives when you first start up, and quadruple check that RAID on/off jumper, before you start up!! One of my friends switched the jumper on his board in case he needed it later, it assumed he was going RAID, and took the liberty to format his drives for him
