I am looking to build a PC that can run HL/TFC (Halflife:TFC) Preety Well for my brother. For $300!

I have seen some posts before like it. I was wondering on ur guy's suggestions.

Try to get the monitor for free other wise it will be really hard to hit $300. Try to get little things for frr like the Floppydrive, keyboard mouse, maybe case, speakers. get a cheap $30 cdrom. get a shuttle ak31 mobo for $80. get 128mb cheap ddr pc2100 ram. get a 950 Duron cpu. get a cheap 20gb harddrive also. get a radeon 7500 for $100 or i think gf3 ti200. I cant remember which one's better. This computer may not be good for overclocking but it matches the criteria u listed. Have fun

hmm, be pretty hard to hit 300 with a 130 dollar video card. How about a 32mb Radeon DDR or Geforce 256 DDR for under 50 bucks. Both cards will play halflife like a champ. My radeon DDR runs pretty much anthing at 1024x768.
