i found this in my new feed today. thought i'd share.

WipeOut Phantom Edition finally gives the PlayStation racing classic the PC remaster it deserves, thanks to one fan

Fan-made remaster brings the subpar PC version back in line with the console experience.

you'll need a copy of the playstation version for it to work, which is the part that interests me.
hopefully there'll be other projects like this in the future... if its good.

i finally got a chance to check it out and it works pretty good considering.
i had some issues ripping the game from my disc copy but it might be a version mismatch being a long box version i wouldnt put it past them when they released the standard cd case one they made some changes to the games code at the same time.

in the end it worked though

Didn't they make a brand new 4K VR version of that? I think I played it on my PS4 and PS5 in VR and standard.
