I had a lot of fun making my other two rigs, and they've served me well. Here they are:

I have a new project and I'm going to document (sorry for ****ty pics, can't find the digi cam so cell must do for now), here's the scope:

Lian Li a70a full tower case. 4x120mm intake fans, 4x120mm exhausts (3 via topmounted radiator). The rad fans will be Scythe 1900rpm ss's.

Planned hardware is Wolfdale e8400, evga 780i, 2x 9600gt's (to be upgraded on the 9900's release), OCZ 2x2gb pc8500

Swiftech 655 pump, apogee GTX CPU block, ?? GPU block. Also a reservoir with some passive cooling capability.

With that much air flowing through the case, passive cooling will be paramount. MOSFETS, NB + SB and ramsinks will all be passively cooled, as will the video ram likely. I haven't looked into full block gpu coolers for sli g92's, but since I plan on upgrading to the 9900, I'd like to keep it simple for now. Will likely use 2 DD Maze 5 blocks.

Current issues:
Pump mount location (likely bottom)
Flow Order
Cooling the SLI'd cards
$$$!

I'm shooting for this rig to be fully benched and tuned by July. A couple paychecks stand in my way.

Here's some images of my progress with the case modification:

looking good bro and either you get paid alot or you just love to spend all of you momey on you computer and nothing else haha 2 9900 on release you crazy bro but good luck on your build keep us posted

Well, the step-up program does help alleviate costs. Budget isn't really an issue with this build as it was for me in the past, I get to do anything I want.

Any chance you could make those pics a little smaller? 800x600 is the norm.

looking good so far though.

what did you use to cut the case, and any tips. I plan on doing the exact same 3x120 fans at the top of the A77A case.

I was going to get the A70A but then the 77 came out 2 weeks ago on newegg.

Pinky, a dremel or any sort of rotary grinder/cutter will do. Get several heavy duty cutting tips + attachment, and take your time. An aluminum case will be a lot easier to work with for grinding as opposed to steel, not that you were going that direction.
