I've been gone from OCF for a few months, due to family issues but im back (not that I really know anyone that well here) and building a new rig, just thought I would post my excitement and story of my upgrade :attn: .

I had a really hard time finding a Motherboard that will suit my needs, Im not quite in the mindset to go PCI-E yet, since im waiting for the next chipset after the 7800's. So im still currently using a AGP 6800GT (Past Ultra Speeds), but the mobo had to be Socket 939 for my Athlon64 3700+ San Diego.

I came across the ASRock 939Dual-SATA2, simply because the board has AGP/PCI-E and its not some bandwidth hack either, both perform GREAT, and you can even use both at the same time. I've read tons of people having simple little problems like the onboard sound, and some Cool 'n' Quiet issues. These wont be a problem for me, since CnQ will be off and I have an Audigy 2.

Anyone here have this board? I would like to see what you think about it? Im trying a new brand out, and the overclocking features arnt as good as say the DFI boards I normally run but they dont have Socket 939 AGP mobo.

Anyways here is my new system :)

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2
Athlon64 3700+ San Diego
Corsair XMS 2GB TWINX PT
Leadtek Geforce 6800 GT
Creative Audigy 2
X-Connect 500W
Lian-Li V1200
Thermalright XP-120 w/120mm Nidec Fan (112CFM)!!!!

 Cant wait :)
