hi im bulding a new pc iv alredy got my dfi sli-dr i just wanted to make shore that a AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core 3800 would work in it my first time so im not to shore on this

Make sure you get a Skt 939 CPU and you'll be fine. You'll also want to update the bios to the newest version as I see there are MANY changes in the latest.

Just make sure that's the right page, you said SLI-DR, so that's what it is. But if you have the SLI-DR Expert or something else, make sure you get the right files!

EDIT: BTW, grab the latest drivers for your board also!

thx done that sucsesfuly im getting my new Dual Core 3800 cpu next week and when i get the money im getting a fx-60 but for now that well out of price range lol

Congrats Those are good lil' overclockers....should get to 2.4Ghz pretty well with decent cooling!
