New sources lead me to believe XP2200 is a Palomino too! :(

Like the thread title says, unfortuneatly, AMD might push another Palomino in our faces in just two weeks!! Yes, a 1.8GHz XP2200 Palomino should come out by the end of this month, strange eh???

Anyone else hear about this disaster? Also, I seen, Tomshardware has also posted this too.

AHH!!

Very bad news everyone, I've just recieved an email from a good friend who lives in Japan and he's told me that the XP2200 has already hit some markets!!!

The worst part about this news is that he also told me that AMD is pushing T-bred back yet another month!!, we may not even see it now till late April, possibly may!

I'll bleed more information on this as soon as I get it,

EDIT: He says the 1.8GHz Palomino throws the same amount of heat as the T-bird 1.4GHz does!

I think you have been mistaken the T-Bred were originally suppose to come out in May. The Thoroughbred is going out to motherboard manufactures March 20th, so May does seem right for the chips to be out in the market.

i wish i could remember where i read this piece of news but i also saw an article stating that the 2200 would in fact be a Palomino and not a t-bred-- but, it would be the last palmino because the 2300 would be a t-bred. I am am looking for this article again, but i don't think i can find it. sorry
