New speakers?

I need new speakers for my PC (my current one make a "crackling" "breaking" noise when I change the volume)

I want something about $60 or under. I want it to look slick.

any ideas?

Honestly....save a few more dollars and get the Logitech 2.1's......excellent setup.

My brother needed speakers so I gave him my 4.1 speakers and I needed speakers so through out the help I recieved on the forum I hooked my computer up through my stero. It really works great and it should cost under $10. Just go to radio shack and they'll assist you.

Pardon me for breaking your budget, but this is the best deal I've seen...
Altec Lansing 251 90watt 5.1 Speaker set = $68



If all else fails keeps your eyes peeled for 4.1 speaker sets on sale at staples or Office Max for under $30. I got my Philips 40watt 4.1 set for $25.

I'm with Dragon on the Altec ATP-3. Good, solid all-around speaker system, very durable, looks cool and can be had for under $40.
