Here is a interesting HS from a company in Korea.

This is called the max cube. They have many different products also including a vapochill style appy that you simply put your case on top of and the price is about $250 less but its performence is much better than a vapochill unit.

It never fails. You can always rely upon some "offshore" interest finding an american design, that works well and copying it. That's why we are no longer an economy based upon manufaturing. :(

Don't look at it that way Hoot. Just make a similar design yourself out of a mini fridge and 2 radiators. I'm shure you could make something like it that costs a lot less. What can it cost to make somthing like that? I really doubt it would be much at all.
 
If you look at the pins on the above HS you will find that they are longer than the swiftys. The bottom base is 1.15cm thick which is very thick. That HS is probably a very good one, that is if the pins are attached very well in the copper base.
