Read the manual that came with the Mobo. This is a good idea even if you are not OCing. In there it should tell you how to change the FSB and possibly the multiplier. I do not know what that board is capable of, but it is sure to have a FSB setting you can overclock.

Thank you for your reply Ridenow
Reading the manual did not help. It called to change the J2, J3 and the J4 jumpers then set the DIP's to a particular frequency. I located the J2 and J3 jumpers according to the diagram, but the diagram also shows the location of the J4 jumper which is not on the board. The manual dosen't help with the BIOS settings, except for he default settings

read the beginners guides on the front of this site.. and when you have a specific question we will all try to help as much as we can and try to tell us as much as you can about your system

Cheesy board. Some boards are just not OC friendly. It sounds like the "frequency" might be the FSB. Let me see if I can pull up the manual from the website.
Maybe one of the other people have used this board.

And welcome to the forum.

Oh, I see! Set the jumpers to pins 2-3 and set the multiplier with the dips per page 41 on the manual. The FSB is set in the BIOS. Very overclockable, just not as easy as the Abit. You will probably have to unlock the processor, checkout the tips on the home page. I do not like the "pencil trick", to many problems.

Thank you Ridenow for you information, and Unseenmenace for pointing me to the beginners guide that did help. I have now got it to overclock, but now can not get it passed 840MHz without it crashing. I have tried to set the voltage higher with no help.

Ok, now we ask if your processor is locked and what cooling are you using? On the processor there are what is called bridges. If the first set, L1, are cut then you will not be able to change the multplier. Again, check out the tips for this. When you overclock the processor is running faster and produces more heat than normal. Sometimes the stock cooler is not enough for a good overclock.

If you post again, tell us what FSB, multiplier and voltage you have.

Thanks Ridenow. I think I've got it. I unlocked the chip, now I've got it running at 1GHz The multiplier is set to 10x, the voltage is at 1.91V, FSB 2x100MHz and the temp is maintaning 45-48. Do these setting sound safe? The system seams to be stable right now. I have tested it with games, and nothing bad happened.

Not bad. Temps are in range for an air cooled setup, might be a little high if you load the processor. If it is stable and you do not smell smoke then it worked.

i have the same mobo and it is a great overclocker make sure your cpu is unlocked and also the manual that came with it is out of date they removed the j4 jumper in the new revison so just change the j2 &j3 and it will allow u to change the multiplier and u can change the fsb in the bios under combo fetures set up as well the voltage. dont be afraid to max it out at 1.85 with proper HSF it wont harm the chip
