Hi, I'm very new to OC'ing and need some help. First of all this is a short list of my equipment

xfx 780i sli mobo
intel q9450
8 gigs corsair dominator pc2-8500 c5 model# TWIN2X2048-8500C5D
abs 900w PSU
2 xfx 9600gt video cards.
Vista ultimate 32bit, I know it won't use the full 8 gigs but I'm getting win 7 soon.

So my question is how far can I go with this setup safely and exactly what do I have to do to get there?

Thanks.

For some ocing basics check out this sticky

One thing tho, nvidia chipset boards are notorious with stability issues. So with that in mind don't expect it to gain high overclocks. You'll be able to achieve some decent oc's around 3.2Ghz with that quad. However anything over that will be a crap shoot.

Also the 780i mobo's NB gets extremely hot. Be sure you have some really good cooling on the large sink.
