thanks, well here we go.

im about to install them, so far i havent had much luck with the via drivers, and my oc liking eachother.

ive been using the 4.32 forever, there best that ive found so far.
well for my board that is :)

Did anyone notice when installing these drivers in WinXP, that it does not ask you if you want to install it in Turbo mode or normal mode? I think it automatically selects normal mode which would explain my loss of performance in 3DMark2001. I'll try these and see how they go. If anybody else with WinXP has these installed, let me know if your 3DMark scores went down. Thanks.

On installing the new Via 4in1 4.38 an option asks you if you want to install in either normal or quick install.
A quick install will automatically install all necessary files without presenting you with any options.
A normal install can be used to un-install drivers or not to install particular drivers.

Apparently some people who install these drivers have noted that they often reinstall the slow and crappy default windows drivers. This may explain my huge 3d mark 2001se losses which i was blaming on 28.32 .

You may have to install manually ................... check the driver versions in device manager .

You can't install manually because it is a self extractor. It has its driver files built into the extracter and you cannot install them manually through device manager.

Use Winzip to open the file.....then extract to a directory.
