Thanks to Gunman who spotted this out newegg just now put up 3000, 3200 and 3400 boxed version of the newcastles all with 3000AXBOX 3200AXBOX 3400AXBOX is thier model names.

I assume this means thier the real newcastles with CG revisions.

Well, over here, if you bought a 3000 you couldn't be sure if it would be a neutered clawhammer or a newcastle--now you can.

I'm sorry to crap on your parade, but although the 3200+ and 3400+ are probably NCs the 3000+ is still questionable

look at the pic of the chip. it shows as an AP (= C0 ClawHammer), although newegg states that its a newcastle

It is a clawhammer, if the model number says that, then that is what you will get. AMD uses ADA3000AEP4AP as a part number. That's what newegg orders, that's what they get.

Dude look, im talking about the retail not OEM, the 3000+ retail thier are 2 boxes the ADA3000+BOX, and the CG stepping ADA3000AXBOX. Notice the AX?

And no they havent been thier for weeks it was just put up Today. Now that thier Garunteed CG revisions, im ordering my 3000+ AX cpu with the Epox EP-8KDA3J mobo right now

Thier are only 3 or 4 retailers here that are trust worthy NONE are selling the AX boxed cpu's until newegg listed them yesturday.
Germany and Europe always get stuff before us its known fact now please bug off idiot.

neweggs the best, prices are great, shippings usually free from fedex, its fast and they have a vast selection, cant go wrong.

Omg? Sorry, I didn't want to make you upset, or to attack you.
I just wondered.

"Germany and Europe always get stuff before us its known fact"
Bull****. In Germany we're still waiting for working MSI K8N since ours are causing problems like hell.
We don't have one shop listening Abit Kv8Pro 1.1
Could go on with that. This stereotype just isn't true, sorry to surprise you

There are plenty of stores selling AX retail chips. It might just be listed as 3200+ retail or what not, but that doesn't mean it's not an AX. I ordered my chip from newegg 3 weeks ago (retail/boxed) before newegg put up the so called AXBoxed chips. And my chip is an AX. You really shouldn't wait for stores to put AX on their chips.
