Newer Bios 1004 final limits OC.

Installed a newer Bios today 1004 i think. Unfortunately my Machine will now not allow me to see any voltages over 1.750??? and also it will thus no longer run at 2700mhz and will only post at 2675 ...


What a bummer? has anyone used the 1005 beta and does it resolve any probs like this (ive also noticed a little bit more insability above 2500mhz? which i was not experianceing before. So if you are still 1003 or something for the deluxe board and its all peachy i wouldnt bother Bios upgrade LOL it saying dual channel LOL is not worth it!

Uber 1004 gave 5 more Mhz in the FSB

I saw the FSB scale is slightly better!

I saw the FSB scale is better but being limited to 1.75 is a hindrance ! a fsb of 300mhz aint going to help if your chip can only run at that with a core voltage of 1.85 LOL.

I just bought my asus mobo last week and it came with 1005(official)
