Anyone have a list of the next stuff coming out? I keep seeing about the E4300 but I haven't found any specific info? Also are the current Asus P5B series compatible with the quad cores or the next generation CPU's?:beer:

Found this:

http://www.neoseeker.com/news/story/6371/

Reportedly, Intel will launch four new Core 2 Duo models on January 21st.

* E4300 @ 1.80GHz, 800MHz FSB (200x9) 2MB L2, $163
* E6320 @ 1.86GHz, 1066MHz FSB (266x7) 4MB L2 (Q2/07?)
* E6420 @ 2.13GHz, 1066MHz FSB (266x8) 4MB L2 (Q2/07?)
* E6400 @ 2.00GHz, 1333MHz FSB (333x6) 2MB L2

No longer planned, and soon to be forgotten

* E6390 @ 2.13GHz, 1066MHz FSB, no VT (discontinuted before introduction)
* E4200 @1.60GHz, 800MHz FSB (discontinued before introduction)

Thanks for the info, that helps. I assume all those will compatible with the current mobos, maybe even without a bios update.

Id say if the fsb is 1066 or less they will be compatible, but the 1333 fsb might need a new mobo or BIOS update at the least.

I just can't wait to see how the allendales perform and overclock... the e4300 has caught my eye seriously (hope they dont perform as a crapleron)
