Thanks everyone for giving me suggestions for an SSD to upgrade my system. I now have a Crucial 128GB M4. =)

Here is my current setup:
Western Digital Caviar Black WD7502AAEX 750GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s
ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 AM3 AMD 880G SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)
COOLER MASTER Silent Pro M700 RS-700-AMBA-D3 700W
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5
AMD Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition Deneb 3.5GHz Socket AM3
Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" 128GB SATA III

With black Friday sales to make use of...what would you guys suggest as the biggest "bottleneck" for my system and what should I do next to make my rig better?

Appreciate you guys!

Well Knu buddy the only outside thing i would guess is a bit more Vram on his GPU other than that +1 as you said! AJ.

interesting...thanks guys

I've had this computer for a while now and still no real big upgrades huh?

Haven't been having any issues but because of some real nice deals I've seen on black Friday I thought if there were any big bottlenecks I could get some hardware upgrades now.

I fully understand, but the only point is that games are slowly beginning to use vram so i would say 2 GB is the norm now. AJ.

Haven't been keeping up so much with latest gpus... with my current setup what would you guys suggest for a mid range graphics card upgrade under $200? Or is the performance upgrade not going to be worth $200..?

Ah, so you are gaming on a single 1080P screen. Hm...

Before I forget, make sure you have windows installed on the SSD and it is setup correctly. I don't have the link to the thread but if you search there is one around here that guides you through optimizing it prett well.

love this community! thanks man!

would it be useful to maybe xfire another 6870? better than upgrading to a 7850 maybe?

I play aion bf3 and other gpu intense games...32" Samsung hdtv as my monitor.

The other thing to remember is in Xfire you still only have 1GB of DDR5 even if you have 2 x 6870's! As the other members have said best to up grade to a 7850 if you wish to. AJ. :)

I would say either of these 2 cards, but more so the MSI one and ive included the bench marks difference from you current card as well. AJ. :)

On the MSI the results in bench marks will be higher because its clocks 950MHZ @ 4.8GHZ, where the others are 860MHZ @ 4.8GHZ.

Regarding that 2nd link (The MSI Radeon 7850) would there be any reason to not get this instead?

It's a 7870 and its only $20 more. Would it be the better value? This is the actual monitor I'm using. http://www.onyougo.com/samsung-ln32d403e2-lcd-tvs_pi1482132 It's not as high end as I thought but I just want to make sure it will run sharp and look great. Or should I invest in another monitor instead of video card and keep my 6870?

Current monitor is a Samsung http://www.amazon.com/SaMsung-SyncMaster-20inch-Monitor-Glossy/dp/B0054MK6NK and some old crappy secondary square Samsung.

Look in all honesty your the OP here you can choose what you want Bro, as far as the 7870 if you have $20 more grab it and be happy. Its a very good card and a good step up from your other one. As for the monitor just hang ten for a while, sell your 6870 put some money to it and buy a new monitor later on. Just do the card first as that will help with your gaming and that where you have the most fun right now. One step at a time as they say OK. AJ. :)
