Allright guys, i need sum advice an quick. I had to rma my NF7-S, one of the sata connectors actually broke off, doh! I only wanted it replaced, now Newegg has refunded me $118 saying the nf7-s was out of stock, or discontinued. However, browsing newegg they do have the nf7-s in stock for $108, they also have the AN7 for the same price. I would hate to lose the soundstorm audio, but the chance that perhaps the 10/10.5 multi's would work properly on the AN7...

Anyone with an AN7 please give your experience with top fsb's etc etc and specifically the ability to use 10 or 10.5 multi's above 225 fsb.

Any other board recommendations will be considered also, i'm really missing my gaming rig, and i need to get this mobo ordered TONIGHT if possible.

geeze... complications.....

Thanks guys,

J.

an7 could posibly be the better board after 3 or 4 revisions but who knows...

the max this board can do right now is 225-230 fsb while the nf7 is doing 260-265fsb...

the an7 currenlty has a problem with 1/2 multipliers, they cannot be used, also the board was rushed, check the pcb on the back and you'll see that it has scratches on it as all an7 do...

nf7-s 2.0 remains the best amd out there.... tell newegg to send you a replacement

Thanx, and yeah, that's what i've been seeing everywhere else. A small handful seem to be doing ok with them, and another small handful doing poorly. Not alot of people using them it seems huh? Anyway, i think i will just order the nf7-s again. They allready refunded the money on the card. I don't understand why they did that. I don't remember seeing the nf7-s out of stock @ newegg recently. It certainly shows in stock now.
