NF7-S Raid Question

I finally got around to getting an NF7-S. I had 2 WD 80gigs in a Strip Raid config on my old MSI KT3 Ultra ARU and I was wondering if I needed to format the harddrives before hooking them up to my new mobo. I've got about 120 gigs of info on the raid that I don't want to lose, and I'm fresh outta blank dvd's.
