I bought an NF7-S a couple of weeks ago, and now I'm getting failed boots with no beeps. I'm told this is a dead bios? If so, are the V2s the same bios? I can go and get a new board today, use the bios chip to get mine back up and running, and then sell the new nf7 on. Work out same-ish cost as buying a new chip, and quicker.

So, anyone know if it's compatibly?

Cheers

from the abit site, it looks like the nf7-s 2.0 and the nf7-s2 have DIFFERENT bioses... so that wouldnt work....

but i havent tried it so i cant confirm for you...

Turns out it wasn't the bios anyways, something was shorting.

Cheers for the reply.
