hey ppl, got a new system (amd 2200+ nf7-s v2.0 geil 256x2 cl2 ulcd ddr400 kit and desided 2 o/c,
got the amd2200 runin at 200mhz fsb, 10x multiplier and the memory at 400mhz,
using a volcano 7+ at 6000rpm when the cpu is idle its 44.5c and when its loaded reaches 50c(is it 2 high?), the ram is synced wif the fsb and the latences are 5-2-2-2 2T
vcore at 1.6
system runin stable at all benchmarks
however this is my 1st o/c system so if anyone see something i mised 2 improve, say something

see if you can get more out of the CPU, 1.6 is the stock vcore is it i not?

yea it is , had no reason 2 raise it , now after moving all the fans 2 a standalone power suply and better heat paste mange 2 drop the cpu 2 38c-idle, 42c - 100% loaded after 3 hours 3dmark

btw , how far can i got on this board w/o burning it

i added another 200mhz 2 the cpu, runin at 2.2 ghz, but now i am having major power fulxes on the -12v line and the vbat line, stability is still 100% so i don't know if its real or some sensor glich. is there some known isues with the sensors of the nf7-s?

What PSU do you have? i would imagine thats the problem, i've got an antec true power and the vcore changes +-.02 at MOST

12v line changes +-.2 at most

The NF7 does like a lot of stable power, A really good 350w seems to be the minimum they run reliably on. I would try raising your vcore up a bit, you aren't going to hurt that chip! I am running my 2100+ T-bred at 1.93v so it will run stable at 12x205, I never had to go above 1.85 to get to 2400mhz.

also keep in mind that the nf7 undervolts by .5 (i think)

its a 350w tsunami, its a peace of poo, but in israel its kinda hard 2 get better power suplies

ppl, i just did some amazing , my comuter is located next 2 my air conditioner at home, which runs all the time , cz it hot as hell here in israel, so i diverted with a large 20cm tube some cool air directly into a 120mm fan that is blowing the air inside the case and presto , amd 2200+ @ 2.4 ghz , 32c idle, 35c -100% and offcourse the 7+ vocano helps 2
