nForce 2 sound not working at all.

The nvidia soundstorm on my Epox 8RDA+ won't output anything at all. The speakers work fine and the soundstorm utility shows pretty bars dancing up and down when I have music playing and windows doesn't show any problems so I don't think the issue is there either.I've tried plugging the connectors into different ports and that didn't work.

Oh and I'm using labtec 4.1 speakers and analog connections. Anyone got any suggestions?

Also if I do have to get a new soundcard does anyone know how much power the audigy and audigy 2 eat?

Go through the process of setting up your speakers via the Speaker Setup program. That sorted out a bunch of kinks I had for my Klipsch 4.1's.

Just go to green for the front speakers........................red for the rear speakers.

Make sure your settings are correct from within the software otherwise you will not get any output.

PS........Make sure digital out is not clicked otherwise you won't get anything.

I've run speaker setup and I've tried various different combinations of jacks and sockets. Analog out is ticked and most of the other settings are left at default since I have no idea what they mean.
