This is me being paranoid, but does anyone think new boards with the nForce2 chipset would do something dastardly to those who will buy an ATI vido card? I by no means want to make this into some kind of fighting words, but I'm looking for a new rig, and I know I want the 9700Pro. And these are multi-billion dollar companies. . .

wait and see is the best bet, but I doubt nvidia would intentionaly do something like that. If anything it would hurt sales because people simply wouldn't buy the board.

Yup, almost all reviews that tested graphics used the 9700 Pro. I think nVidia even supplied it to them with the board.

That makes me feel much better. And looking back, you're right, the 9700 was used in the benching :eh?:

. . .do I have trust issues?
