NFS:HP2 Crashing....

This happened when I had the demo, as well as when I got the full version --> I'll be driving along, then everything stops moving, then 30 seconds later, the music stops too, and I have to reset the computer...

Ideas?

try disabling the eax support in the game and if you haven't done so try copying the following folders to your nfshp2 folder

Audio
Cars
Movies
Tracks

the game installs very quickly and leaves most of the stuff on the cd and while in the game it starts reading the cdrom and it causes the game to either lag or hang

performance improved a lot when i copied the folders to my hard drive, about the demo i have no idea what's going wrong, try reducing the details one notch down and see if its making a difference or not

its your video card , u have to leave the detial setings @ default.

suxs for both of us. all i can do is change the RES

hopefully EA will fix this with a patch
