Hi guys, I just got a set of grado sr60 headphones. Wow are they nice... Anyway I was planning on using them with my computer but it seems that the soundcards I have sound like poo. I tired it with my onboard sound (k7s5a mobo) but its way too quiet, even when I turn the volumes all the way up. I also have a card that I'm borrowing from a friend, a maddog or something like that, that I tried and it's way too loud, when theres no sound going through it I can hear a bunch of static in the headphones. What I wanted to ask is if anyone knew of a nice 2 channel card that I could get for sorta cheap. I don't need 5.1 or anything like that. I'm more interested in a quality 2 channel card. Thanks! :)

What do you guys think of this one?

It's a Gamesurround Muse XL. Says it has a dedicated headphone output.. I'm not too sure what that means, if anything :p. Oh yeah it's not too hard on the wallet either...:)

EDIT:

Hmm, okay I think I might go with the Fortissimo III instead since it's only 10 dollars more after rebate than the Muse XL. This card should sound okay with my Grados right? No hiss or anything?

Well from what I heard, the M-Audio Revo is one of the best sound quality card out there if you are really looking for sound quality, but it's not cheap either. If not that, then an Audigy I or II is also a good choice. I think newegg sells a OEM audigy I for about $60, and to me that's pretty cheap.
