hey i guess im a little behind the times here, but ive never unlocked a amd processor before. i know how to unlock them ive just never done it before, and i was wondering what type of pencil would be best for the 'pencil trick' or wich type of lead (even though its really all just graphite) is the most conductive

Thanks

I use any no 2 pencil and make sure the point is very sharp and I sharpen it for each bridge. It works on only the t birds and older durons.

I have a 950 t bird in my second comp with a asus a7a266 The highest I got it was I believe 1133. Not completely stable though so I was running it at 1055 for a while. To change the multiplier I had to use a combination of manual and jumperfree mode. Definitely run it at 133 mhz fsb. Thats what I have mine at and it runs fine.
