Hey there! I have a GTX470 laying around that I really wanna play with this weekend, sadly the only places that were open in my city didn't have any molex>6 pin adapters in stock.
Don't feel like waiting till monday so I could use your help on a workaround.
I found 1 adapter in a random box home, but the card requires 2x6 to run.
Before anyone says that if my PSU is too weak to handle one if it doesn't have a 6-pin on it, I'll be powering the gpu with a second PSU. I'm open to any suggestions on how to attach the needed 5 cables to the second 6-pin connector. Soldering is a no-go, as my soldering iron seems to have died as well. I know the idea itself sounds stupid, but it's all in the spirit of tinkering, so (some of) you should understand. Hot gluing them is also a no-go btw, don't ask how I got to that fact, haha
