I wnat to o/c my Duron 700 (its running @721), but I have only a Powertech/Commate K7ta board. It hasnt got a multiplier on board or Bios. I know i must do the L2 trick, but can I overclock it with a tool or sth.? Thank u.

PS.: My specification:
Duron 700@721
Powertech K7ta
MSI 8808/TNT2 Model 64 (YEAH, Christmas will bring me GeForce2mx)
192MB RAM
Win MilleniumEdition.

Yeah,
You can oc by connecting the different bridges, it just makes it hard to really push your system to the limits as you hafta reconnect and cut traces each time to get a different multiplier setting.

www.tomshardware.com has all the specs for which bridges give which multiplier.

Good Luck

i would not recommend too much playing with processor, as each time you attach/remove your heatsink, you risk damaging the core.durons/tbirds are easy to crack core.
