No fan speed reading in Catalyst

I have a 5870 and in the overclock section, the temps work but the fan speed reads 0 no matter what the temps are. I haven't overclocked the card yet, but is seems that it should at least show the current speed. Is this a bug in the Catalyst software?

I don't have rivertuner, or haven't loaded it if it came with it.

Running 9.11 drivers. Just saw that 9.12 was just released. BTW running Windows 7 64bit. Nothing in the release notes about the fan, but I'll give it a shot.
