No half multipliers on KT7a?

I just unlocked the multiplier on my Duron 800. The system now boots up fine at all round multiples (6.0, 7.0, 8.0), but will not use any half multipliers. When I try to use 7.5, it boots as a 7.0 multiplier. Anyone know what the problem is/could be? Mobo is an ABIT KT7a.
