I got my FSB up to 130 (I think) it was at 2.6 no problem, its just the onboard sound didnt work.

I have AC97 codecs. I thought about getting a sound card, but dont think its worth it for that. Im running P4 2.0 on an Aopen 4b Max.

Right now its at 108, so Im running 2.16. Big deal. My temps hover around 30C. (air cooled)

I used the search here and at overclockers forum for some help. I heard about locking the PCI/AGP bus, but COULD NOT find it anywhere in my BIOS.

Other then that Im fresh out of ideas. I would like to get this running at 2.4-2.6 w/ out any conflicts. Would changing the voltage help? I tried bumping it to 1.55 and 1.60 and nothing.

Thanks.

On board sound is notoriously bad when there is overclocking. While some are better than others, usually you'll have static or it won't work at all. You could get a cheap sound card to add in, like a SB Value. You might also want to try going to 133 FSB, a 1/4 divisor might kick in and get your PCI speed back to 33 Mhz, but that depends on the motherboard. You would have to ask an Intel user if that board has it or not.
