No Post! plz help!

my IBM hard drive is on its way, so I put together my rig without a HD, fired it into bios, worked great... so I go to manual setting of my clock and forgot and put it at 133 , when I only have a 100 chip, the 1.4(200). I hit f10 to save and reboot, but the thing wouldnt reboot, which I figured would happen, but after reseting and turning off and on it still wouldnt set itself to 100 and post, so I manualy set the jumpers to 100 , no luck.... so now I'v removed the battery from the mobo and unplug'd it, hoping after a few hours the cmos would reset... have I missed something? or am I doing the proper steps? would could that have done setting it to 133 like that?

14x100= 1400
14x133= 1860
Well if it actually tried to boot I suppose it could overheat pretty fast.
Kind of doubt it thou sounds to me like you are taking the correct steps.

Don't worry nothing is fried! just reset the coms yourself. short the points near you battery (or around that area)

one more thing, this is a good example of what can happen if you push fresh equipment to high to fast!
