I decided to try the original bios (1005) that came with my MB to see if there is a difference in performance with 1007. I flashed the 1005, went dual channel, and the highest I can go was 182 x 11 @ 100 % sync. I got 183 x 11 with 1007 bios and that is not good either. So I changed timings from 8-3-3-3 to 8-4-4-3 and bang, I heard a bunch of beeps and there it goes, my bios died AGAIN! No problem, I have a spare bios chip and did a hot flash and now I am back in business with 2 working bios chips (love that hot flash).

Don't bother with 1005. As a matter of fact, don't bother with dual channel if OCing. If anyone has success with dual channel, please post, and provide rig info. Thanks.
