I hear some sorta of static noise when i right click on something (icon) and i also hear it when im playing games. it started happening today. i never heard it before anyone know what is going on. the way im looking at it is it might be the video card because of graphic change but i dont know. never came across a problem like this before. one more thing i also hear it when i open up the catalyst. this noise is getting pretty annoying now. please help

I would suggest making sure your speaker wires don't run near the mouse cord (if you are using a corded mouse).

Also.. make sure your mouse cable is plugged in completely... You could be leaking some RF out and your speaker line is picking it up.

Also.. try making sure your speaker cable connecter is in all the way, for the same reason as above.

Try blowing out any dust in your system.. funny as it sounds.. a little dust and normal house humidity could cause a very slight short on the mobo.. or help transmit some RF..

I don't think it is anything major... try reseating your sound card.. if it is in an upper PCI slot, try moving it down a slot or 2.. if you have that option..

To me.. it sounds like a grounding issue..
