Hi guys im curio,

Im kinda new to te whole gaming world, i now hardware and been following for many years but i just bought the first parts to my first pc and i think i already made a mistake.

Ibeen seeing a lot things being said about DDR5 having issues with the expo profiles, and i bought a corsair vengeance 2x16gb 6000mhz CMH32GX5M2E6000C36W and on the box says intel xmp ready and i run a have a 7800x3d on a x-670e gaming plus wifi, do you guys think it will have issue? I now that am5 expo profiles differ a lot from intels. Could you shine a light of guindace? Thank you in advance for anyone who takes the time to help.

AMD can read XMP. It *should* work...

That said, motherboards have a Memory QVL (Qualified Vendors List). Your kit is not on it... but that doesn't mean it won't work.

Me.......I'd try what you have before returning it for something else. Chances are it will work....make sure you update the BIOS to the latest version before enabling XMP. ;)

Hey thank you so much for the reply, it puts me at easy just hearing from someone who knows better than me, btw i saw on the amd website that these are the supported memory speeds clocks like 5200mhz, o dont understand none of that but i tought it meant it doesnt support above that.

So, the maximum memory speed for that platform is DDR5-5600. Enabling XMP/Expo is overclocking the memory controller. But DDR5-6000 is the sweetspot for AMD so I wouldn't worry.

Like I said, install them... update the BIOS to the latest version, then try enabling XMP and see if it works. If they don't, get something around that speed (not slower) but on the QVL list for assured compatibility. :)

Keep us posted!
