Hi,

I have problem of my new cpu build i don't know what is the problem of my pc. Before i state my problem my cpu specs is on my sig.

After assembling my pc and try to power on. The computer not powering on. I don't know why. I check the cables of motherboard ( 24pins,8pins ) if thightly inserted. I also check the video card cables ( 8pins, 6pins ). All are thighly inserted. But it won't boot. I try to remove the video card and the my pc boot ( cpu fans are working , front fans working, ) i see boot device led is in red. I think that is regular because im not yet inserted the harddrive so it will not boot an OS yet.

I don't know what is the problem when i insert again the video card it will not boot again. I don't think the video card is the problem becuase this is brand new. I don't know if my suspect is right about the cables because i sleeve those last few weeks.:bang head

Disassemble it completely and reassemble it.

But, I bet for the RAMs. Those little devils ALWAYS are the problem when a computer doesn't boot.

Clear CMOS, too.

Yep, when it bleeps more than once and you just have a black screen.

Same with video cards, too! Those devils are just as tricky, at least in the past!

Especially AGP cards back in 2002, 2003 and 2004! Those devils were typically the cause of the bleeps-of-doom!

Hi to all,

I already reassemble all the parts and i try to back it in and test every cables rams.
And i see the 6pin cables when i plugged in to my vc my pc not working at all if i change to other spare of 6pin cables my pc work and boot. Now my pc is working fine now.

My second problem when i go to the bios to see the setup i see some graphics error in some words and menus in bios. Don't know why is happening like that. i try to install windows 7 OS but in desktop i don't see any error also i install my sapphire software. but after reboot i go to the bios and still in there when i tab making more bigger.

Hmmm... what 6 pin cable.

The PCIe cable, or the EPS cable. The EPS cable is 8 pin, if you connected the PCIe (first of all it shouldn't fit) we may have a problem.
