oops!i forgot to add what kind of card it is.its a radeon 64meg ddr

forget that default benchmark...change your resolution to 640x480x16bit....its natural for a graphics card to slow performance at higher screen resolutions...reset the resolution in the benckmark menu..then test the system...guaranteed to improve your score by far..
your system is more than capable of more than that...Im currently running a pentium4 1300cl gamers PC...using 3Dmark2000 at a 640x480x16bit screen resolution and im pulling 7500 marks...I don't care what anyone says about the default test...try it as i exsplained...3dmark2001 is for the next generation of games...use 3dmark2000...you will get a better rated score for the gaming software
