I'm hoping to work on the ram speed and timings. I've never overclocked AMD before so this is definitely different.

I feel like we are missing similar competitions for extreme league. Newer members have always something to do while older are not really motivated to run any benchmarks.

^ I know how you feel ^
It's kind of like being left out of a BIG GAME :(

I couldn't have helped much anyway except to give advice :( I was asked to help in the Country Cup and busted 4 boards (2 CHVF-Z & 2 Saber's) and 6 CPU's :(
I have got 4 CPU's back from RMA, still waiting on the last 2. I have had my first CHVF-Z returned because it was still dirty from being setup for sub-ambient benching :( I have went back and super cleaned the boards, now just waiting on new RMA numbers :)

@LRG5

Is your ASUS board okay?????
I lost one of mine when AISuit popped up and said that my SB=00000v. The whole board is screwed and I'm currently working on RMAing it back to ASUS :)

PS. Did then memory timings work out??

The board is fine, when i really push it over 5250 MHz , the Ethernet port gets funky. All seen ok when not OC to hard.
But OCing over 5500 Mhz 1.60 volts FSH and NB as high it will go, I understand it.

cpu was to hot last night to OC too high, and had to work today. Just sat down now and was trying to help so one on the team. But I will let know
how it go's.

Im gonna try again with a new OS. Win7 requires quite a bit to save a screen shot and im on the fringe of stable. As of now thats the best i can do.

Make sure you're setting the java to high priority and switching wallpapers can help a bit as well. Running multiple times can yeild a better score too.

Do you have any tweaks for HWBotprime LRG5? Like setting the java engine to high priority in TM

Check this from RR20 discussions. I did a lot of HwBot prime research back then as one of the stages was Intel HwBot prime and we were smoking G3258 chips.

After all that mumbo jumbo, the "direct execute" approach from a .bat file or shortcut using java.exe instead of javaw.exe.
Also YOU MUST HAVE the right JRE version. The original post from TuKr on where to get this I can't find, but I have a copy, as well as about every other jre version.
Then the basic stuff. I run everything from task manager, so..
- open tm, and kill explorer.exe.
-Using task manager, do a new task and browse to your bat file or execute command line.
-Elevate the Java process priority as high as possible
- close task manager and run a number of times.
-repeat steps until you are a world record holder!

-I haven't looked, but previously HwBotprime was limited to win7 and previous versions?
- The JRE version you use is important in relation to OS. I tested win8 at the time.

If you have any questions or clarifications, ping me as I am not too tuned into this thread nor hangout yet as I am very busy readying my arsenal.
I assume I should be able to contribute in a few places in a week or so.

Some more Java Jive Turkey

so check out this post:

It talks about the GenieBench, which installs JRE, also addresses the specific jre version.
In short, if testing in win7x64, you want to be sure to have JRE 1.6.0_18 x64.
Make sure to turn off the autoupdate in the java control panel!!!

When I tested win8, it seemed best to go with the latest and greatest JRE version.
I assume the same in win10, but again I dont know if you can sub using them.

If you are interested in Oracle/Sun JRE/JDK archives go here:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/archive-139210.html

You will need to register.
I believe you can still just grab the JRE 6 versions, and then not deal with the whole GenieBench process.
I also have the files and could push them somewhere if we have that medium here.
For now I'll work on a Google drive share and stuff what I have there...

Cheers

Hey swart, thanks for the work you did here.

I finally got my new loop built and am leak testing now. Hopefully I can get some preliminary runs in tonight.

What was your score? I'm not sure I'm even going to submit on that stage. If I can't get score 4000 points I think I'll do more harm than good.

Og,

With the way scoring works anyrhing is better than no submissions. They take all 3 scores and add them up and divide by 3. If there is only w scores they add then up and still divide by 3. So as I said anything is better than nothing.

The only way your score can hurt us is if somebody else can get a higher one. if you sub a 4000 score, it will give us about 5900 total, about 300 shy of first.

if we could get another sub in the 6000s we would take first for sure

Tukr, I updated the first post to include you score.

We are currently in 3rd for stage 2, if we post a score of at least 1492 we will be in 2nd place. If we can get a score of 4791 or higher we will overtake 1st place.

Had some time to really play with the new cards a little tonight. Needs some work but not to bad for my first go.
