ok me and my frind just bought the K7T266 pro 2a mobo and 1800xp, for me this is just my second rig and i havent built it yet, but we tried building my friends and everything went fine on the build and swap but when booting up we get this error saying NTLDR file is missing, i have never heard of it myself and never experienced it, he swapped some of his hardware from a HP comp, pos in my opinion, but thats besides the point, he has full edition of windows xp home, ne suggestions would help tremendously,
thnx.

ok i found the answer, it seems that since he has the full version of xp, that when upgrading so much ****, xp doesnt like it and it creates that error.

like the floppy disk or a cd disk, cause we tried the floppy in and out, windows boot disk, but i think he had some cd in there for some reason before i got there.
