there's no way they would name it FX. the reason is simple, people will confuse it with MX (unless that's thier plan to boost MX sales)

Why don't they call it something original, like GeForce 5
or how about a BRAND NEW name entirely, based on a Greek or Roman God, or something, or maybe something to do with "rendering" and "architecture" like, Leonardo, or Michaelangelo, or Raphael, or Donatello, or Splinter...I mean...uh...ok maybe not
I would name it after my favorite artiste....Salvador Dali....like the Dali V. How exquisite, how fantasimo.
Or how about a play on words, like AGPerfecto
or how about one of these:

VidKing XL
MorphoPrism 5000 (adding 5000 to anything always makes it a little bit cooler )

This has to be some kind of joke. It sounds like they just combined 3Dfx with GeForce. I thought they would be dropping the name Geforce altogether, but this is just the gheyest (sp? ) name i've ever heard.
