Nvidia Bios ????

I have an elsa gladiac geforce2 gts with stock bios. I heard that if i update the bios to an nvidia reference one i might get better performance. i have a few questions.
1. Will a new bios improve my 3dmark 2001 scores and by how much?
2. which bios do you recommend?
3. how should i update it?

You will very little gain from updating the bios.
If you use a bios not supplied by elsa you will void your warranty.
